Didzis Palejs - jaunais AEBIOM prezidents Eiropas Biomasas Asociācijas (AEBIOM) rīkotās konferences (European Bioenergy Future 2016) laikā AEBIOM izmantoja iespēju, lai oficiāli paziņotu par jaunā asociācijas prezidenta un valdes ievēlēšanu. Par jauno AEBIOM prezidentu tika ievēlēts Latvijas Biomasas Asociācijas LATbio valdes priekšsēdētājs Didzis Palejs, šajā pozīcijā nomainot Gustavu Melinu (SVEBIO, Zviedrija), kurš organizāciju vadīja pēdējos sešus gadus. Paleja kunga ievēlēšana bijusi dabiska izvēle, jo pēdējās desmitgades laikā viņš pakāpeniski aizvien vairāk ir iesaistījies AEBIOM un tās tīkla darbībā.
